Rob Griffith aka Bytespider is working real hard in developing the api for YelpGuru on mobile platform, at the rate he is working we will have something to test soon.

Made a little Twitter bot yesterday(some people think this is unethical)  that searches for key words and Tweets so often (only 15 tweets an hour) but the Twitter police clamped down on it within 5 hours *sigh* so I had to shut it down. Goodbye my little minion you will be missed.

Will be making some enhancements on the vote results in the next week or so.

Ok so I finished the bit.ly api integration last night, it means that all the posts made to Twitter will have short url’s like this one bit.ly/k1SoCz . Had some great advice from @MariGriffiths and @bytspider thanks you guys.

Will be meeting up with my good buddy Gerhard Human tomorrow to discuss some new ideas. Have an awesome day.

Added some extra functionality today. You can go and vote on anybodies Yelps now, just click on the ‘Go Vote’ button at the bottom of the ‘Yelp’ you are viewing. Access from ‘All Yelps’ on the menu bar.

Still got loads of ideas for new functionality. Will keep everybody posted remember to follow me @YelpGuru on Twitter and feel free to send any comments or ideas.

Just completed the Twitter integration bit and it seems to run quite stable. Still not to happy about the Facebook side of things so I will close it down the Facebook login for now until I can sort it out. Now the next step is to try and figure out how to get people onto YelpGuru.com . Still need to think about Iphone app next. So far so good and I am quite happy with the progress.

Nice in cold here in Cape Town so I think it is now time for a fire and some R&R.

ok, so far so good. customisation is going well of the blog, got to love WordPress! Just thinking now what else to add. ah I guess it will all come with time.

So the blog is up now to quickly customise, and to get all the little addons going..
